Early Life and Education

Adrian Martin Newey OBE was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, on December 26, 1958. He developed a passion for engineering from a young age and studied aeronautical engineering at the University of Southampton.

Career as a Formula 1 Engineer

Newey began his Formula One career in 1980 with Fittipaldi Automotive. He subsequently worked for March Engineering, Williams Grand Prix Engineering, and McLaren, before joining Red Bull Racing in 2006. As Red Bull's Chief Technical Officer, Newey is responsible for the design and development of the team's Formula 1 cars.

Throughout his career, Newey has made significant contributions to Formula One design. He is renowned for his innovative approach and meticulous attention to detail. His designs have helped Red Bull Racing achieve numerous successes, including four consecutive World Constructors' Championships (2010-2013) and five consecutive World Drivers' Championships with Sebastian Vettel (2010-2013) and Max Verstappen (2021-2022).
